Stack Cards Sort
A one-tap color-sorting puzzle with a deterministic Swift game engine.
Project Overview
Stack Cards Sort is a native iOS puzzle with one simple move: tap a column to insert the tile in your hand at the top and collect the tile ejected from the bottom. Complete a column in one color to lock it, then lock every column to finish the level.
Solvable by Construction
Levels start from a solved board and are scrambled with reversible moves. Each generated puzzle retains a known solution, and its level seed produces the same board on every device. A separate search-based solver powers hints.
The rules, generator, and session state live in a pure-Swift package. SwiftUI handles navigation and controls, while SpriteKit draws and animates the board from that state. This keeps game rules independent of rendering and makes the domain logic testable.
